Recorded in 2019/20 with our new friend Raz coming on board
and taking care of Guitar duties. This album takes a slight turn away from the slow doomy stuff from our last recording and even gets a bit poppy at times ooh la la! It was fun to record and write with some fresh ideas in the mix. (fear not though, it's still pretty fucking heavy)

With Idge at the helm once more for Recording & Production Wizardry, we tracked and mixed the album at Soundpark Studios, Melbourne, Australia over multiple sessions.

I picked this one up in advance of a holiday trip. In these times I always need some softer music for my companion which rocks only a little. But SPIRAL GURU's cool 70s influenced psychedelic rock even rocks a bit more. Usually this is not my genre, stuf like Spiritual Beggars or the like, but SPIRAL GURU is definitely charming, maybe because of the female vocals. Further the songs are not too psychedelic, they have a solid catchiness. Check "Signs" or "Oracle". H.L.

This album was pretty good. I liked the heavy sounds mixed with the clear, powerful vocals. This album is a slow burn, though. It gets better as it goes and builds to a truley epic finishing track. I will be listening to it again. Gregory
